Policy

*The State Council issued the “Action Plan for Promoting Large-scale Equipment Update and Consumer Goods Exchange”, which pointed out to carry out the replacement of old-for-new cars and home appliance products to promote the replacement of home decoration consumer goods, continuously promote the electrification and substitution of urban buses, strengthen the industrialization capacity building of green aviation equipment such as electric and hydrogen energy, encourage banking institutions to appropriately reduce the payment ratio of passenger car loans, and reasonably determine the loan term and credit limit for automobiles.

 

Industrial Economy

*State Council Premier Li Qiang conducted a survey in Beijing on March 13th, emphasizing that developing new quality productivity is an inherent requirement and important focus for promoting high-quality development, strengthen forward-looking layout and accelerate the improvement of computing power level.

*The Central Network Information Office and 11 other departments jointly issued the “Notice on Carrying out the Second Batch of National Digital Rural Pilot Works”.

*MoC and 9 other departments jointly issued the “Implementation Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Rural E-commerce”.

*State Administration for Financial Supervision and Administration: Promote the virtuous cycle of finance and real estate, accelerate the implementation and effectiveness of urban real estate financing coordination mechanisms.

*CSRC Chairman Wu Qing presided over an enlarged meeting emphasizing hurry up and plan policies and measures to strictly control the entrance of IPOs, strengthen the supervision of listed companies, securities, fund and futures institutions.

* Global crude oil price closed up collectively. April NYMEX crude oil contract up 2.63% to closed at $79.60/b, May Brent contract up 2.47% to closed at $83.94/b. INE crude oil active contract up 1.64% to 630.9 yuan/b.

* Precious metals closed up collectively, COMEX gold active contract up 0.61% and closed at $2179.4/oz. SHFE gold active contract up 0.76% and closed at 508.84 yuan/gram.
